When Thornton Downs is sued Leila must return to her beloved Hollywood and make a movie to save the riding academy. Luckily Charlotte gets to tag along, and she soon discovers Hollywood has its own problems, superstitious writers and glamourous parties to tempt Leila away the job at hand.
Almost immediately the film is in peril from a series of mishaps. Could it be sabotage? The stakes are raised further when Leila’s co-star Sarah Jane is kidnapped. Charlotte with the help of Todd, Leila and Feathers needs to find Sarah Jane before it is too late and the academy is shut down.
But in doing so, Charlotte will find herself in terrible peril.
